ain’t nothin’ stoppin’ me now!

As some of you might know, some of you might not. My life has been great, exciting, and crazy these past few years. And today, was one of the most exciting days of the month for me, what might you ask makes me so happy??? Registration! That’s right, registration. I will give you the semi-full version, (mainly, since I have time to write it) has to why I am so happy about registration.

Let’s back track to May 2000, I graduated in August I left for KWU, I was happy there. I met a boy who talked me into changing school, which bring us to August 2001 at KSU, I met some great people there – and continued dating and got distracted by the boy – forced to come home. Brings us to January 2002, I come home and start going to UTA that lasts until about December 2004. Now a run down of time at UTA -- I broke up with boy, and put a few more under my belt. I also, managed to build up over 200 hours, due to me not knowing what I want to achieve to after school life. Around the later of 2004, issues at home, I could no longer handle. I am not going to go into all of the drama, but just know I am better for leaving at the time I did. December 2004, I decided I need a break from everything, school, family, but I still needed to support myself. I moved out, and went to work full time; later in the year got a job off for something completely opposite of what I was doing, with more pay. (What can I say money talks.) So, I am still with that company, the dealership which is awesome they are currently working with my new schedule so, I can finish school. Yes, you read that right so I can finish school. So, basically from December 2004 – May 2008, I was just working. In January 2008, Amy (a close friend) said something that made me realize I was ready to go back to school. So, I register, apply, talk to an adviser, and get everything rolling to where I can go back to school ASAP. Since, May 2008, I have been working full-time and going to school part-time. 3 classes over the summer, 2 more in the fall, and 3 more in the spring, and I would be done.

Here we are back to present day, and I have been cleared for registration. With a few bumps that I took care of this morning, I am registered! For my final, 3 classes at UTA. I am sure there will be a few more bumps between now and then but I am ready, and ain’t nothin’ stoppin’ me now!
